Attorney Alex Bartko of Alex Bartko Law has been named to the Lawyers of Distinction Class of 2026. The recognition is awarded following a review of an attorney’s qualifications, licensure, reputation, experience, and disciplinary history.
Lawyers of Distinction is an organization that evaluates attorneys based on objective criteria, including professional background and standing within the legal community. Membership is extended following a selection process designed to assess professional credentials and ethical history.

Alex Bartko is the founder of Alex Bartko Law, where he focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation, defamation matters, and investigations. His experience includes representing clients in disputes ranging from pre-suit negotiations through trial and appeal, as well as advising businesses on litigation risk and related legal issues.
Before founding Alex Bartko Law, Bartko practiced for 11 years in private practice in Atlanta, representing clients across multiple industries in complex litigation matters. He later served for approximately two and a half years as lead litigation counsel for a corporation based in Atlanta, overseeing litigation strategy and related legal matters.
Bartko earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia and graduated with honors from Emory University School of Law. While at Emory, he was appointed to the Order of Barristers and participated in the Emory Moot Court Society. He has also taught an advanced trial techniques course at Emory University School of Law.
In addition to the Lawyers of Distinction recognition, Bartko was named to the Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list for 2025. Super Lawyers recognizes attorneys through a selection process that includes peer nominations and independent research.
